Riverside man bilked of nearly $1 million: cops

A facilities manager at Hill House , a residential facility for seniors, has been charged with first-degree larceny and accused of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from a 77-year-old Riverside man who has Parkinson's disease. Joe Lanoce , 60, of 150 Main Street, Norwalk, who had a gambling habit that authorities said was fed by regularly playing $30 scratch-off lottery tickets at a Riverside Mobil station, was released from custody after posting a $50,000 bond.
