New Salad Restaurant In Greenwich Serves Up Specials For Charity

On Wednesday, Chop't Creative Salad Company is offering special meals with $2 salads and sandwiches for sale from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at its location at 1271 Putnam Ave., Riverside. All proceeds from the Chop't Gives Day will go to the Kids for Kids, a local organization that raises money for impoverished children in Appalachia.

Greenwich Rotary Club Donates $5K To Heart Care International

Heart Care International founder and CEO Dr. Robert Michler, of Riverside, talked about the organization at the Rotary Club's Feb. 25 meeting. Sally Parris, president of the Greenwich Rotary Club, along with other members, presented Michler with a $5,000 check after his speech.

St. Catherine's Players Of Greenwich Stage 'Seussical'

St. Catherine of Siena in the Riverside section of Greenwich is putting on a show, with productions of "Seussical the Musical" on the calendar for March. Performances will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Lucey Parish Hall.
