Cops: Riverside man flees after crashing car in Stamford
Christopher Lund, 24, of Gilliam Lane, Riverside, was charged with evading responsibility, resisting arrest, second-degree breach of peace, possession of marijuana, use of drug paraphernalia and failure to drive right. He was held in lieu of $5,000 bond. An off-duty emergency medical technician saw Lund drive over a median at the corner of Cold Spring Road and Randall Avenue and strike a Stamford Hospital sign, Stamford police Capt. Thomas Lombardo said. The medic, who was driving, stayed behind the car and saw it continue down Cold Spring Road, according to police. Past where Cold Spring turns into Washington Boulevard, the medic came up to the vehicle where it had crashed into another median and became stuck, Lombardo said.... |
